Happy Fourth of July
Looming over the celebrations this year is the ominous cloud of doubt represented by the statistic cited in the title. It is fair to say that a large percentage of both the Right and the Left in America, find our current trajectory disturbing.
Part of the reason we feel so lost is that the legions of bureaucrats, regulatory agents and politicians currently enshrined don't seem to be listening,
or, a truly worse realization, competent.
The old adage of "you work for us" falls on deaf ears because, of course, they don't work for us.
Big money elects them and big money takes them down. This has been going on for some time now such that a class of grifters, those who would sell their birthright and their children's birthrights, have arisen like a plague of locusts, to corrupt the very core of representational governance.
They're allowed to "rule,” I mean take orders from their handlers, in exchange for the rewards that being a "sock puppet" entails.
The term for this is...
Kakistocracy- a state or country run by the worse, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. Their shared trait is being compromisable and pliable and either naive, ignorant to the forces at play or simply uncaring; seeking an easy life regardless to the costs to the world at large.
Perhaps, in the midst of celebrating the founding of this country, when you have a moment of quiet, sitting by the pool or at the beach, may I suggest that you watch the following video. Roughly one half of the video is delineating issues and the other half is focused on solutions.
Let’s start by liberating ideas. We all have the power to make a difference, each one of us. Don’t wait for the sock puppets.
We are in the midst of a transition---away from Nation states and toward something else.
If we hope for our children to enjoy the fruits of liberty, we must do more than celebrate them once a year.
Sheep know the voice of their true shepherds—the Kakistocracy don’t qualify.
You know of the disease in Central Africa called sleeping sickness...There also exists a sleeping sickness of the soul. Is most dangerous aspect is that one is unaware of its coming. That is why you have to be careful. As soon as you notice the slightest sign of indifference, the moment you become aware of the loss of a certain seriousness, of longing, of enthusiasm and zest, take it as a warning. You should realize your soul suffers if you live superficially.
