Societal Infrastructure...a Bit Like Jenga Blocks?
And what can be done?
I want to share an email written to me by a member of our community of smartsheepers after my last post, “No one is going to ask your Permission.”
His concerns reminded me of the game of Jenga.
It goes like this…
Is it any wonder why I’ve been black-pilled since ‘86?
Hey, here’s something I’ve noodled on (without resolution) for decades --- I wonder if you’ve ever thought about it:
If there ever were truly any Good Guys who truly wanted to do some trust-busting and breakup of monopolies ... how could they possibly go about the process with Wisdom & Righteousness?
So you have this Monopoly, which by definition is huge, and is fulfilling some kind of function (or set of functions) which is (are) widely considered necessary, and which in fact is (are) almost certainly deeply intertwined & ingrained into the infrastructure of the Society and the daily lives & routines of most or all members of that Society.
So you successfully declare this Monopoly to be Bad, and declare that it must be broken up.
How do you do that without the societal infrastructure and the People taking a huge (possibly catastrophic) hit? [Exactly]
Plus, after making such a declaration, the very first action required in order to carry out the breakup is to seize control & ownership of the Monopoly from the previous owners & controllers --- so the very first action required is Massive Theft.... And then who owns it? The government? Who specifically within government? The People? Which people? Who makes the subsequent decisions, with those decisions then backed up by the force of government? [and where do you get the power and authority to do that]
And when you break it up into pieces, how do you decide how many pieces, and into which pieces will go which assets & liabilities & hardware & software & intellectual property & employees & management & contracts & obligations & responsibilities & contractors & subcontractors?
And if you somehow miraculously surmount that impossible problem, how do you wisely & justly & equitably determine who gets each of the pieces?
I have never been able to come up with a wise & just & equitable answer to those questions; and so my conclusion has always been:
Since monopolies most likely cannot come into existence and certainly cannot remain monopolies without the complicity of government, then government must strictly outlaw monopolies before they ever come into existence; and if they fail to do so, once monopolies do arise, Freedom & Human Dignity & General Prosperity & Welfare will inevitably begin their inevitable downfall, from that point in time.
I think Andy’s right…a sobering thought which is why I share the following graphic over and over again. Our society is built on an infrastructure of multiple monopolies.
Start to pull a specific jenga block out from the stack and the whole system becomes unstable. And no, the politicians or any set of politicians that we could possibly elect in the future, will NOT ADDRESS THIS. And the lion’s share of social media influencers, who clandestinely support the current structure of governance, will NOT ADDRESS THIS. Both parties will be airlifted to higher ground when the real trouble starts.
We have each other.
Resisting the outgrowths of the monopolies (leaves on the tree) may buy us more time but the roots will simply grow back in some other way.
We have few options but to get local, get liquid, get resilient, get self-sustaining and get the message to as many people as possible. Those who refuse to suffer, or who are unwilling to go without —at some critical level— will inevitably get sucked up into the new slave system.
Are you teaching your children to have guts, fortitude and principles that they will not comprise? If not, you better start, cuz social media won’t be doing your job for you.
True hope begins when illusions end. Make sure you know where evil resides in society and call it out. Resist participation with it. Don’t be deluded by false prophets telling you things are going to be fine.
Evil will never be victorious over The Good.
Stand your ground Sheep!
There is still time to get into a workshop, starting next week. Email me at michelle@smartsheepe.com if interested.
